ALONI ELA Vanity Unit – 60x40x45 cm – Walnut – Handleless & Soft Close

The Aloni ELA 60 cm vanity unit is a handleless unit in a walnut finish, designed for bathrooms where you want to combine a sleek, warm aesthetic with practical storage. The subtle ribbed texture on the front door adds character without feeling busy. With a depth of 40 cm and a height of 45 cm, this unit also fits comfortably in more compact bathrooms.

Specifications

Is this product right for you?

This vanity unit is ideal if you are looking for a 60 cm vanity unit to be fitted freestanding beneath a countertop basin or inset basin. The 60 cm width is a widely used standard size that suits most basins of the same width. Before installation, always check that the basin you choose is the same width and that the trap falls directly beneath the waste outlet — the cutout in the drawer is specifically designed with this in mind.

If you are looking for a unit with multiple drawers or doors, this model may not be the best fit: the ELA has one drawer and no additional cabinet doors. For a complete bathroom solution, this vanity unit can be paired with a matching bathroom mirror or mirror cabinet from the Aloni range. The walnut finish has a warm tone; combine it with matt taps in gold or matt black for a cohesive look.

Installation and use

A common mistake when fitting a handleless vanity unit is skipping the wall fixing because the unit appears stable on its own. Always secure the unit to the wall using the included fixing hardware, especially if you are using a heavy countertop basin. This prevents the unit from tipping forward when weight is applied to the drawer. Also ensure the floor is level before adjusting the feet — an uneven unit will put the soft-close mechanism out of alignment, causing it to close unevenly.

Frequently asked questions

Which basin fits this vanity unit?

A countertop basin or inset basin with a width of 60 cm will be a suitable match. Ensure that the waste outlet of the basin sits above the trap cutout in the drawer. Check this on the basin's dimension drawing before ordering.

Is the walnut finish the same on the inside as on the outside?

Yes, the drawer interior has the same walnut finish as the exterior. This gives a neat appearance when the drawer is opened. The material is MDF and chipboard with a foil finish — not solid wood.

Can this vanity unit be wall-mounted as a floating unit?

The Aloni ELA stands on legs and is not designed as a wall-hung unit. If you prefer a floating look, choose a bathroom furniture unit specifically constructed for wall mounting without visible legs. This unit is fixed to the wall for stability, but the legs remain visible.
