A wall-hung toilet with bidet function — also known as a bidet toilet or WC with integrated spray — combines a wall-hung toilet and a bidet in a single unit, with no need for extra space or a separate tap. This range features over 40 models from Creavit, Isvea, DutchLine and VitrA, with prices from around €130 to well over €2,000. The spray nozzle is built into the pan and retracts automatically after use.
Choosing the Right Bidet Toilet for Your Bathroom
The standard size across this range is 530 x 355 mm. Measure the distance from your waste outlet to the finished wall before you decide, as even a few centimetres can make fitting to a standard concealed cistern frame impossible. Also check that the fixing points on the pan are compatible with your frame, as not every combination works together.
For colour choice, Isvea offers the widest selection: white, ivory, black, anthracite, taupe, burgundy, navy, teal, mint green and terracotta. Creavit has fifteen models, including several rimless versions. VitrA supplies certain models with a toilet seat included — with other brands this is a separate purchase.
Cold Water, Hot & Cold, or Electronic
- Cold water: one additional cold water supply, no electrical connection required. The simplest installation and the lowest purchase price.
- Hot & cold water: two additional supply pipes, no electrical connection. The spray is more comfortable, though hot water from the boiler takes a moment to arrive.
- Electronic: instant warm water via a built-in heating element, but requires a dedicated electrical circuit behind the wall. Higher purchase price, maximum comfort.
Rimless Bidet Toilets
Rimless models have no flushing rim on the inside of the pan. Without a hidden rim, dirt and limescale have nowhere to accumulate, making cleaning far easier. Creavit offers several rimless versions in this range. If ease of cleaning is a priority, a rimless model is the sensible choice — especially combined with a built-in bidet spray that retracts automatically after use.
Matt Black Wall-Hung Toilet with Bidet Function
For a dark bathroom or WC, Isvea offers matt black and anthracite wall-hung toilets with bidet function. These finishes are supplied in the same size (530 x 355 mm) as the white models, so they fit the same concealed cistern frame. Do check that your flush plate is available in a matching colour, as not every plate comes in black.
Installation: Fit the Water Supply Before the Wall Is Tiled
The most common mistake is forgetting to run the water supply for the bidet spray before tiling begins. A cold-water model requires one additional pipe behind the wall; a hot and cold model requires two. Make sure the concealed stop valve is already fitted and capped behind the wall before the tiles go on — rectifying this afterwards means breaking open the wall.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a bidet toilet work with cold water only?
Yes. A cold-water model needs only a cold water supply and no electrical connection. If you prefer warm water, choose a hot and cold model with two supply pipes, or an electronic model with a built-in heating element — the latter does require a dedicated electrical circuit behind the wall.
Will a wall-hung toilet with bidet function fit any concealed cistern frame?
Not necessarily. The fixing points and the projecting waste outlet on the pan must match your frame. Always compare the technical drawings of both the pan and the frame before ordering. At our showroom in Rotterdam you can view both products side by side in person.
What is the average cost of a bidet toilet?
Prices in this range run from around €130 to well over €2,000. Entry-level cold-water models from Creavit sit at the lower end of the scale. Electronic models from VitrA and special-colour finishes from Isvea are at the higher end. Budget separately for the concealed cistern frame and the required concealed stop valves.
Are rimless bidet toilets harder to keep clean?
Quite the opposite — rimless models are easier to clean, precisely because there is no hidden rim where dirt and limescale can build up. The spray nozzle retracts automatically into the pan after use. Keep the nozzle opening free of limescale build-up periodically, particularly if you have hard tap water.
