Will this seat fit your toilet?

The fixing centre distance of 128 to 238 mm covers the vast majority of standard toilet pans. Before purchasing, measure the centre-to-centre distance between both fixing holes on your pan: if that measurement falls within this range, the seat will fit. The D-shape follows the contour of modern compact toilets closely, gaining space compared to a fully round or O-shaped seat.

If you have an older pan with a fixing distance outside this range, or a specialist model with side-mounted fixings, this seat is not suitable. If you are pairing the seat with a wall-hung toilet, also check that the pan has a D-shaped contour that matches this model.

Installation and use

With top-fix installation, you tighten the fixing bolts from above without having to work underneath the pan. A common mistake is overtightening the locking nut, which can crack the ceramic. Tighten the nut hand-tight and then give it no more than a quarter turn extra. The quick-release button at the rear of the seat allows you to remove it with a single press for thorough cleaning around the hinges.
