The Geberit UP320 is a self-supporting frame: it does not need a load-bearing wall and can be mounted free-standing in a stud or false wall. The installation height of 112 cm is the standard for wall-height installations and fits virtually any system wall. The Aloni ECO toilet has a depth of 49 cm, which also makes it usable in a smaller toilet room where a standard 52–54 cm toilet would be a tight fit. Choose the flush plate to match the rest of your bathroom or toilet finish: the DutchLine plates are all compatible with the UP320 cistern and the price adjusts automatically to your choice.

This set is not suitable if you already have a concealed cistern in the wall and are only looking for a toilet or flush plate. If you want a toilet with a bidet function, you should also consider a different set — this toilet has no built-in wash function.

Installation and use

A common mistake when installing a self-supporting UP320 frame is skipping the floor fixing because it is assumed the wall does the work. The frame must be anchored at both points — floor and wall — otherwise the construction will pull out of true over time. Also check before closing up the wall that the flush buttons of the flush plate move freely; any binding or resistance at that stage is an expensive correction afterwards.

The UP320 is a self-supporting frame that you mount in a stud or false wall without needing a load-bearing wall behind it. The UP720 is intended for installation against an existing, load-bearing wall. For most new-build and renovation projects with system walls, the UP320 is the standard choice.

Can I replace the flush plate later?

Yes, all DutchLine flush plates are interchangeable as long as they are suitable for the Geberit UP320 cistern. You do not need to open up the wall to change the plate — it is done from the front. If you want to upgrade to a different finish later, that is easily done.

Is a rimless wall-hung toilet harder to keep clean?

Quite the opposite — the rimless design is easier to keep clean than a traditional toilet with a flush rim, because there is no hidden space where bacteria can build up. The flush spreads directly along the entire inner wall of the pan. Combined with a ceramic glaze, dirt is less likely to adhere to the surface.
